| Snow Plow 1, (3-5) |
| This session is designed for toddlers as
an introduction to the world of ice skating.
Tots will learn the proper way to fall and
get up, march in place, marching while
skating and a beginning two foot glide. |
| Snow Plow 2, (3-5) |
| A continuation of Snow Plow 1, where the
children are taught forward and
backwards swizzles, two foot hops, one
foot glides and snow plow stops. |
| Snow Plow 3, (3-5) |
| A continuation of Snow Plow 2, where the
children are taught forward and
backwards swizzles, two foot hops, one
foot glides and snow plow stops. |
| Basic 1, (6-16) |
| This session will teach the basic
techniques of ice skating. Skaters will
learn one and two foot glides, dips,
forward and backward swizzles, snow
plow stops, two foot hops. |
| Basic 2, (6-16) |
| The basic skills of skating begin here.
Skaters will learn left and right one foot
glides, backwards two foot glide,
backwards swizzles, two foot turn and
moving snow plow stops |
| Basic 3, (6-16) |
| This class is designed for those that have
progressed past beginner. As the
elements become more challenging,
skaters will learn forward stroking, forward
crossovers, knowledge of edges and one
foot snow plow stops. |
| Basic 4, (6-16) |
| This challenging session teaches
backwards stroking, two foot three-turns,
backwards crossovers, a side toe hop
and T-stops on both feet. |
| Basic 5, (6-16) |
| Class Description: This challenging
session teaches backwards outside and
inside edges on a circle, backward
crossovers in both directions, beginning
one foot spin, hockey stops and side toe
hops |
| Basic 6, (6-16) |
| The progression of figure skating skills
continues. The skaters will learn three-
turns, mowhawks, t-stops, a beginner
spiral, a lunge, a bunny hop and outside
edges. |
| Basic 7, (6-16) |
| The progression of figure skating skills
continues. The skaters will learn
mohawks, backward outside edge to
foward outside edges,pivots, ballet jumps
and backward crossovers to a backward
outside edge(landing position) |
| Basic 8, (6-16) |
| The progression of figure skating skills
continues with moving forward outside 3-
turns, moving inside 3-turns, combination
move involving mohawks and cross
overs, one foot upright spin, waltz jump
and the mazurka |
| Freeskate 1, (6-16) |
| This is the first level of freetyle classes.
Skaters will learn advance foward
stroking, outside and inside edges,
advanced back 3 turns, the scratch spin,
the waltz jump and the half flip. |
| Freeskate 2, (6-16) |
| Begin learning jumps and spins and the
skills to be an accomplished figure skater!
This class will introduce outside and
inside back edges, inside and outside
spirals, waltz three turns, back spin, waltz
jump tap toe walt jump combination, and
the toe loop |
| Freeskate 3, (6-16) |
| This is an exciting class full of new
elements for the serious figure skater.
Learn maneuvers like salchows, waltz
eight, swing rolls, backward inside 3 turns,
half lutz, and waltz jump toe loop
combination |
| Freeskate 4, (6-16) |
| This is an exciting class full of new
elements for the serious figure skater.
Learn maneuvers like power 3 turns, sit
spins, loop jumps and waltz jump loop
jump combination |
| Power Class, (6+) |
| Turn up the music, and speed up the
skating! This class will heat up with some
intensive drills and techniques on the
basics of skating, as well as you get in
shape! You will become more proficient at
crossovers and stroking.
The Basic Skills Power Class is designed
for basic skills level 4 and up. The Power
and Edge Class is designed for those that
are in pre-preliminary or higher. We
recommend that all skaters are enrolled in
a power class to supplement their skating. |

| A time for adult skaters to come and enjoy
skating and meet other skaters. |
| Adult Workshop |
| A class where adults of all ages may work
on various freestyle elements as a group. |
| Advanced Power & Edge |
| This session is designed to help
intermediate and advanced skaters
develop power, endurance, and basic
edge ability, including enhancing skills that
will assist them with various footwork
sequences and moves in the field. |
| Basic Skills Power Class |
| This session is designed to help beginning
skaters develop power, endurance, and
basic edge ability. |
| Elite Club: Freestyle Workshop |
| A class where intermediate and advanced
skaters of all ages may work on various
freestyle elements as a group. |
| Homeschool Workshop |
| A class where homeschooled skaters of
all ages and level may work on various
freestyle elements as a group. |
| Off Ice Training Class |
| This session is designed to work with
skaters off-ice to develop strength and
conditioning. |
| On Ice Ballet |
| This class is designed to enhance the
skaters' presentation skills, muscle
control and balance. |
| Skating for Hockey |
| A session designed to help those skaters
who wish to pursue hockey learn basic
skills that will enable them to advance. |
| Field Moves |
| A session designed to specifically work on
moves in the field. This includes turns,
edge control, and move patterns. |
